Honors Program Curriculum
To complete the program and earn the Honors designation on their transcripts, students need to
- Complete the four HONS courses, earning no less than a C in each of the classes.
- Maintain an overall LaGrange College GPA of no less than a 3.60.
- Complete an agreement with an instructor teaching a course in that individual’s major or minor field. This agreement specifies the instructor’s willingness to oversee the work, details the instructor’s expectations of the student, and lists the potential venue of the presentation.
- Fulfill the terms laid out in the Presentation Agreement signed by the student and a professor in their major or minor field.
Each Cohort of Honors students will take 4 classes as assigned by the Director of the Honors Program.
